Museums Victoria will run Federation-themed tours of the now UNESCO World Heritage Royal Exhibition Building building on Tuesday 9 May 2017, displaying rarely seen collection objects from the actual opening on 9th May 1901. The Carlton Gardens which showcased the building, are included in the WH citation, so you might begin your tour with a walk through the gardens as you step into history.
