In 2013, CoRBA together with Friends of The Royal Exhibition Building & Carlton Gardens (FREBCG) lobbied the then Planning Minister Matthew Guy to formalise the required Management Plan, for protection of this site.
Both resident groups are pursing the review now imminent in 2020.
The Management Plan for the UNESCO World Heritage site of the REB/Carlton Gardens is due for review next year, and responsible authorities need to be thinking about this and call for submissions.
